Located near several amenities such as a bus stop and shopping centre, this motel offers convenience and good breakfast. Rooms are basic but clean with recently refurbished interiors. Guests can enjoy the swimming pool and tennis facilities on the property.

One drawback is the absence of phone access in the room which could be inconvenient for some guests.

such main attractions as downtown caloundra were near this hotel. we had access to free wifi. in love with anchorage motor inn. it took 15 minutes to reach bulcock beach on foot.

Excellent location near grocery stores, restaurants, and beaches. Kids loved the pool's slippery slide and swings. Affordable rates for a family holiday. Friendly and helpful staff.

Nothing negative to report, all aspects were excellent.

The pool

Had trouble before i even got there when i rang to confirm my booking. No booking. Got that sorted out (I thought). Once we got there the staff were clueless. They tried to tell me I was checking out earlier than I had booked, then they tried to give me a room for two when we were four. Then they tried to charge me more for the room I had originally booked. When we finally got to our room, there were people in it! Smoking! So we had to wait while the room was cleaned and it stank of smoke the entire time. Then people turned up to take our room before we had checked out, and they once again tried to charge me for 'extra nights' when it was what we had booked and paid for. It was a complete fiasco. Also the managers dog kept running back and forth across the main road and the cleaning staff kept screaming at each other. The pool was great. Will never ever stay again and will tell others the same.

The swimming pool and tennis courts were great for our romantic escape. The location was perfect, close to the shops, restaurants and beach. The room was clean and spacious, providing us with a comfortable stay.

The room lacked some basic amenities such as new lightbulbs and adequate bench space. Housekeeping was a bit lacking and could have been better.

It could have done with some crockery and cutlery, if you wanted to to have tea and toast. Also a couple of wine glasses would not go astray, we bought two cheap ones. Over all clean but "Sterile".

The hotel's location was very convenient as it was close to shops, cafes, and restaurants. We also enjoyed having a pool to ourselves and there were plenty of poolside chairs available. The room was equipped with kitchen facilities and a microwave for our convenience.

The room was a bit outdated and could use some refurbishing. The bathroom had some noticeable wear and tear, but it was functional.
